I bought my used WP6 for 5k ... put on new baffle foam and done!!!! Still the best speakers I've ever owned. So you definitely can get into a pair without breaking the bank. I listened to the more current DAWs and the like... not REALLY that much better... clearly same DNA. :)
That's awesome Xenia. We've had a number of customers replace drivers on their older Watt Puppies, and as you, they got their feet into a great pair of speakers for a fraction of the cost. Great Job, thanks for sharing.
How much they cost they better not cut corners
I just discovered that pulling my chair up closer to my speakers was a big improvement. Can you tell me the dimensions of your "listening triangle"? I hope to purchase these one day. I also remember the first time I heard these. Decades ago. Whoa!
The speakers are 88 inches apart, and 83 inches to the chair. From the side wall 29 inches, and approx 5 feet from the front wall. In this case it almost follows the rule of an isosceles triangle, but in other rooms in our showroom, we have a more nearfield setup. Now those numbers are right for this room. The room has solid wood floors, a vaulted ceiling that shoots upward over the left speaker. In this case the other rule of speakers placed about 1/5 length of room from front wall seems to work. But every room is going to be different. Hope that helps. Art Audible Images

They're really special. The new mid-range drivers that Wilson developed (quadra mag) and the new CSC tweeter that they developed provides competition (without the scale of course), for the former Alexx speakers that we had. One would have to mention all the upgrades they did and shared from the Chronosonic XVS and the Alexx V in the new Sasha V to do justice in explaining just how they could bring about such significant sound quality increase.
Better sound? compared to what in price?
Elbebe, It'll be tough to answer your questions without more to go on. I'll give it a try. One example on the budget savings of Integrated Amps might be Michi (Rotel's higher end line), The Michi seperates , the S5 Stereo Amp and the P5 S2 Preamp, are $12,600 combined, if someone did not want to spend that much, or they didn't have the space for 2 pieces, they could go with the X5¬S2 Integrated for $8000, and they will be somewhat close to the sound quality and power as the seperates at a gentler price point. (just one example)

Looks like this showroom was not using Momentum HD Preamp but going dCS to the poweramps direct. I actually think it sounds better that way.

That room looks amazing to be fair. Using Black 2.0 paint on the space themed part of the wall would make it look almost real with a depth that couldn't be matched.
Sebastian Declaire Black 2.0 paint reflects roughly 4% of light. The space themed parts at the sides with the twinkling stars ✨ is covered in a special black velvet material. 👍🏾 The good black velvet materials only reflect less than 0.5% of light. It's much blacker than Black 2.0 paint. 👌🏾

it doesn't get much better than the dCS Rossini, expect maybe the Vivaldi and the higher end MSB stuff, but for the most part... you can get thus DAC and never replace it for a lifetime ... that's not something that can be easily said about anything electronic these days.

Eu como feliz possuidor de umas Guarneri homage, e infelizmente verificador da grande falácia dos tweeters , mas isso uma conversa que nada tem a ver com o caso, ouvi há diversas vezes estas tradition e sinceramente em termos construtivos a sf está a ir no sentido errado , as evolution como o próprio nome dizia , sim um ponto em relação às homage , agora estas tradition são um insulto à marca e processo construtivo em que Franco Serblin sempre apostou, a culpa é tanto querem fazer e tanta definição querem a todo o custo que se esquecem da música, até percebo que muita gente apenas ouve sons , isso não é música isso são palavras , não textos, faz lembrar outra marca que leva a definição ao limite e depois vem a jadis e da.lhes uma barretada , talvez a sf ainda se consiga safar , e já se vê alguma nova luz desde as Electra Amator 3 , um retorno ao que funciona, eles próprios já viram que o tweeter de cúpula funciona e o das Stradivarius não , ou seja estas tradition não prestam ou então passem o preço para 2000 euros no maximo, ou caso contrario no futuro se os meus woofers queimarem, os tweeters não por tenho stock de mais 2, irei sem dúvida para a Diapason .

Great point. The music used in the video is just meant to be fun, thus recreating the meme of the song. When people purchase Sonus Faber, they are buying for two reasons, incredible looks and good , and hopefully great sound. The culture of Sonus Faber from an artistic perspective is to draw designs from the various masterpiece violin designs that have come from Italy.

It is a Wilson Yvette speaker, excellent eye as they are so very similar! Ironically, our Sabrina's are normally right next to the Guarneri's for audition in this room.
